I married my husband, Joseph, in May 1977. We first settled in Grafton. Branch Management for Bank Mutual was my job through 1981. A more important job stole my heart in 1981! Staying home with my children gave me the best years
of my life to date. More to come at a later date! And so much more has happened! I retired January of 2015. Still living in Mequon only now my children have moved on! It is now 2022 and my family has grown! I have two beautiful or should I say handsome grandsons! My Daughter Kristin and her husband Pat blessed us with Shepard Donovan, now 5yrs. and Brady Joseph, now 3yrs. They have brought such fun and joy to my life. Although I never played sports in school, I now play soccer, basketball, baseball, hockey, golf and football! And in our spare time we build very awesome, large train layouts, race hot wheels, play cards, bake, go to the park, go to the zoo, sleepovers, campfires and s'mores, up north in the summer and swimming and boating and investigate and appreciate nature and animals, play games, video games and read and write and nap! I know this time will fly by all too quickly and treasure every moment I have with them. My second daughter Crystal lives in Cedarburg. She managed a farm of 32 horses until she broke her leg and is awaiting surgery. She and doctor gave it time to heal with a boot which didn't happen so rods, pins and screws are planned. A wedding is also being planned as she is engaged now! My son, Joey worked on a nitro car race team and traveled the country for several years after school. Now he drives semi-trucks around the state of Wisconsin. I'm enjoying this part of my life more than I ever thought I would and feel very blessed. Every evening when I say my prayers, I always thank God because I feel very fortunate. Back in 1996 I had an awful accident and didn't know if I'd live to be able to rock my Grandchildren or walk around the zoo with them. I'm so happy God had all of these plans for me.
